Our Terms & Conditions
Article 1: Preamble
These terms and conditions are made between SpecialtyCoffee S.àr.l.-S (commercial name: Feierboun Coffeeroasters), whose registered office is located at 34, Boulevard J-F Kennedy, registered in the Luxembourg Trade Register under number B250241, hereinafter referred to as "the seller," and any individual or legal entity wishing to make a purchase via the seller's website, hereinafter referred to as "the buyer."
Article 2: Purpose
These terms and conditions define the contractual relationship between the seller and the buyer and the conditions applicable to any purchase made via the seller's website. They are based on the Luxembourg Consumer Code, Law of April 8, 2011. The acquisition of a product or service via this site implies the buyer's full and unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions. These terms will prevail over any other general or specific conditions not expressly agreed to by the seller. The seller reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. In such cases, the applicable terms will be those in effect at the time of the buyer's order.
Article 3: Features of the Goods and Services Offered
The products and services offered are those listed in the seller's online catalog. Each product is accompanied by a detailed description. The photographs of the products are as accurate as possible but cannot guarantee a perfect match with the actual product, especially in terms of color. Products are offered subject to availability. If, despite the seller's efforts, one or more items are out of stock, the seller will inform the buyer by email as soon as possible and offer the option to either wait or cancel the order for the unavailable items without charge. The available items will be delivered as usual.
Article 4: Product Availability
The website system will inform you if you wish to order a quantity exceeding what is available in stock. This ensures you do not order more than is available. Products and promotional offers listed on the site are valid only within the limits of available stock. Prices and products are valid as long as they are visible on the site. To guarantee maximum product availability, Feierboun Coffeeroasters updates its stock in real time. However, it is possible that a product may become unavailable if sold simultaneously in-store. In such a case, the buyer will be promptly informed and refunded if the unavailability exceeds an acceptable time frame.
Article 5: Pricing
The prices of products and services listed on the site are in euros, including all taxes (VAT and other applicable taxes). Any change in tax rates may be reflected in the product prices. The seller reserves the right to modify prices at any time. However, the prices applicable to an order are those in effect at the time the order is confirmed. Prices are stated ex-works (departure from our shop), with packaging and handling by the seller, excluding transportation and delivery costs. Shipping and delivery fees will be calculated and shown to the buyer during order validation and are the buyer's responsibility.
All orders placed on www.feierboun.lu must be paid at the time of purchase by credit card, PayPal, or bank transfer.
After placing an order, a detailed invoice will be generated, showing the purchased items, shipping costs, applicable VAT rates, and the total amount to be paid, any outstanding balance, or already paid amount. This invoice will be sent to the email address provided during the order process. If you wish to receive your invoice in paper format, please inform us during or after the order at info@feierboun.lu.
The buyer does not incur delivery charges if choosing in-store pickup at the roasting workshop. However, this type of pickup is by appointment only and must be made before picking up the order.
Article 6: Geographical Areas
Online sales of products and services presented on the seller's website are limited to buyers residing in Luxembourg, Germany, Belgium, France, and the Netherlands for deliveries to those regions.
Article 7: Orders
The buyer who wishes to purchase a product or service must obligatorily:
-
Complete the identification form with the required details in the members section;
-
Complete the online order form with the references of the selected products or services;
-
Verify the order and validate it;
-
Choose the preferred delivery or pickup method;
-
Make payment as outlined;
-
Confirm the order and payment.
The confirmation of the order implies acceptance of these terms and conditions, acknowledgment that the buyer has read them, and waiver of any attempt to impose their own purchasing conditions or other terms. The provided data and confirmed order will serve as proof of the transaction. The confirmation will be considered as a signature and acceptance of the actions taken.
The seller retains ownership of the products until full payment has been made, i.e., until the price of the order placed on www.feierboun.lu is fully collected.
Article 8: Payment Methods
Payment is made online by credit card (Visa, Mastercard), PayPal, or bank transfer. The products ordered remain the exclusive property of the seller until full payment of the order is made by the buyer.
Article 9: Deliveries
Deliveries are made to the address indicated on the order form, which must be within the geographical area specified in Article 6.
Orders are typically prepared and shipped within 24 hours of order validation and payment, subject to stock availability.
Free delivery applies to orders with a minimum value of €45 for Luxembourg and €90 for other destinations. This option appears during order validation when the order total reaches €45 or €90, depending on the country.
Delivery times vary from 1 to 2 working days for Luxembourg. Feierboun Coffeeroasters cannot be held responsible for delays caused by the carrier. However, if the buyer believes that the delivery exceeds the indicated timeframe, they may submit a request to Feierboun Coffeeroasters, which will conduct an investigation with the carrier.
Article 10: Conformity and Warranty
In the case of non-conformity, the buyer must report any defects immediately upon delivery and within the shortest possible time. If the package is damaged upon delivery, it should not be accepted, and this should be noted on the delivery receipt. If the contents are damaged, the buyer should take photos and send them to info@feierboun.lu, providing the order number, name, address, and details of the affected items.
This warranty is limited to normal use of the product. It does not cover defects or consequences arising from improper use or unsuitable storage conditions.
Article 11: Right of Withdrawal
The buyer has a 14-day withdrawal period from the receipt of the order. The withdrawal may be made without penalty. To obtain a refund or exchange, the buyer must return the products at their expense in their original packaging and in new condition, along with the delivery slip, to the following address: SpecialtyCoffee S.à.r.l.-S (Feierboun Coffeeroasters), 34, Boulevard J-F Kennedy, L-4930 Bascharage.
The price of the returned product, after deducting any discounts and promotional codes, will be refunded within 15 days of its receipt.
Article 12: Liability
The seller is only obligated to provide reasonable care in fulfilling online sales. The seller cannot be held responsible for damages resulting from the use of the internet, such as data loss, intrusion, viruses, or service interruptions.
Article 13: Intellectual Property
All elements of the seller's website (texts, images, logos, etc.) are the exclusive intellectual property of the seller. No one is authorized to reproduce, exploit, redistribute, or use any of the website's elements, whether partially or fully, without the seller's prior written consent.
Article 14: Personal Data
The personal data required to process an order is collected by the seller and may be shared with the seller’s partners if necessary for the processing of the order. The buyer also authorizes the seller to use this data to create statistics for improving the site, the products, and services offered. The buyer may at any time access or correct their data by contacting the seller.
Article 15: Responsibility
Feierboun Coffeeroasters cannot be held liable for failure to execute or improper execution of the contract due to the buyer’s fault or force majeure.
Article 16: Proof
The parties accept that electronic exchanges (e.g., emails, backups) will serve as valid proof in their transactions, and that all correspondence (letters, registered mail) between the two parties will be considered official.
Article 17: Dispute Resolution
These terms and conditions are governed by Luxembourg law. In case of a dispute, the courts of the seller's registered office will have jurisdiction, unless otherwise provided by mandatory public law.
